Procured by a mate, we drank it in school.

There's a large portion of my school time after that which I genuinely have no recollection of.

WTF is it? Not Oral Morphine as the name would suggest?

It is indeed...
... morphine intended for oral use. When my dad was in hospital with cancer they used to send round two nureses with it, to double-check that the correct dose was being given to the correct patient. When they sent him home, they gave him two 500ml bottles to stuff in his rucksack, out of sight.

My late father...
... was being given about 25ml at a time when they *started* giving him oramorph. It didn't kill him, although tbh it might not have been a bad plan.
This isn't the same terminally ill cancer patient that Mr Yard is referring to.

If you're in massive amounts of pain, you'll soak it up, as chances are you'll have been given steadily increasing doses over recent times anyway and will have built up a tolerance.
If you're a teenage shitcunt, 25mls(50mgs) will fuck you up bigstyle, what with the usual adult dose being 10-20mgs depending on age and size.
