When I was a childour family dentist had the hairiest nostrils I have ever seen, before or since. Being sat underneath his nose in the chair was like how a mouse would feel if it stood between Billy Gibbons and Dusty Hill of ZZ Top, and looked up.
He always seemed to have an enormous, gristly bogey in one of his nostrils too.

I thinkthat's a diversionary tactic they teach at Dentistry School, might even be a trick bogey he puts in when he gets to work, to keep children occupied.
