Obscure Memorabilia
At home my other half has a broken piece of a piano. Just a single hammer from a broken piano. And yet this twisted bit of wood and metal is a piece from the piano that they flung in the TV series Northern Exposure. We've also got some gardening tools from the first series of Big Brother.
What wierd stuff do you own that has a history?

Curse you, old rockers, for living the life I wanted.
My dad and my godfather, who were great friends at uni in Birmingham in the late 60s and ever since, have some ace memorabilia, these are some of the best ones I've seen/heard/been told about.
My dad grew up on estates in London, and has a fair few posters and fliers for early Who gigs in the loft. They were his local band in them days, and he saw them loads.
There's loads of stuff from uni, but the best one has to be my godfather's- he ran an agency there, booking bands for the student union and getting work for bands or stand ups (there's a cool story about how they almost signed a young Jasper Carrot, but decided he was too local). One night, a young band by the name of Pink Floyd played, and he had one of those new fangled tape recorders, so he got an interview. However, he said something stupid in the first five minutes and only Roger would talk to him. He has the tape framed.
