Mix Tapes
Everyone's made a mix tape (or CD, USB stick, or whatever kids do these days). Mostly to get in someone else's pants, but we're sure there are other, lesser, reasons too.
So, who did you make it for and why?
And... what was on it?

OK then...
"Occasionally we find something that hasn't been done already and is worth running.”
We? Or just you? Fair enough you have the power to choose, but please don’t try and justify your own (probable) particular power trip by stating that what has transpired to be an obviously unpopular QOTW idea was a collective or executive decision. You browsed the suggestions, then most likely thought ‘fuck it, I’ll put my own suggestion in’.
“Creative writing shouldn't be restricted by the subject” – then please re-iterate the point of QOTW to me again…I obviously missed it the first time. I thought subject relevance was an integral part of the QOTW, not ‘let’s all write whatever we want about whatever we want’?
Thanks for the reference to “the usual poo stories we all know and love”. Yes, I have made poo-related posts in my near 7 months on these pages. Oddly, I wrote crap teenage poetry too. Does that make me any less of a man to make my opinions on a QOTW suggestion known?
Finally, thank you for giving me something to actually think about for the last couple of minutes before I leave it for another week. Thought provocation, opinion sharing and freedom of speech is what I believe this site is all about. As you are one of the decision makers, I pray you agree.
Cheers
