Mix Tapes
Everyone's made a mix tape (or CD, USB stick, or whatever kids do these days). Mostly to get in someone else's pants, but we're sure there are other, lesser, reasons too.
So, who did you make it for and why?
And... what was on it?

Back when I was at college
and Zoe Ball did the breakfast show on Radio 1 (classic line up - Mark and Lard followed by a pre-bigheaded-twat Chris Moyles, listened to on a beat up Sony TAPE Walkman with built in non digital AM/FM on the bus home) me and my mates used to tape songs off the radio rather than spend £2.99 on the single at Woolworths (because Pontefract didn't and still doesn't have a HMV or anything remotely closer to a music shop)
In true Peter Kay style we used to perfect the art of getting in as much of the end of song as possible, but not the bit where the DJ kicks back in. It had so-so results.
Even now, ten years on, I can't listen to any chart single from 1997 - 1999 without remembering the exact part on my mix tape that the DJ spoke, what they said, and I even mouth it.
Thankfully most chart singles from 1997 - 1999 were shit so I don't listen to them very often.
