I laughed
It's bitter cold out, single digits and wicked wind - my lips have cracked and bled and I've been hitting the lip balm to try to help out.

The other morning I got in my car and found my lip balm stick missing, wife probably walked off with it (or I did and forgot) - was wearing my big winter coat that I hadn't worn since the year before and I decided to go through the pockets with the hope of finding an old tube and being on my way.

I'm a big guy, the coat is bigger, and the half a dozen pockets can easily hold many pounds worth of junk - and they do - often next to a book or kindle there's coins, business cards, pens, pencils, notes to myself, fliers given to me by strangers, receipts, stickers, chopsticks, pacifiers, kids toys, plastic forks or whatever I or a kid may need someday in the future... along with of course my keys, phone, and the like.

So it took me a while to sift through all that, and finally - under the mini knife, mini flash light, and spare key in my breast pocket - I felt the familiar shape of a finger shaped tube and cried success!

I flipped it out, held it up and ...

Glue stick!

What the hell did I have a glue stick in my pocket for? I have no idea =)

I laughed, and got lip balm when I got home later =)
