Another Quija board. (bored)
My mother is pragmatic, crazy as a kid whose dib dab stick has run out but still has sherbet left, but generally of the ilk that paranormal things are for the mentally ill (or witches).

She told me that when she was 16 or so, she and her friends decided to do a quija board. I would love to set the scene, but I only have the basics. The board was cracked out, planchette or glass placed down. Lots of gobbledegook came through, then a message regarding a family friend who had the week prior committed suicide with a shotgun, this being the very late 50's/early 60's such a thing was not talked about.

I have tried to do a quija board, with not an iota of success. I do think there is an element of subliminal pushing pulling, but still it is slightly odd.

I do have to mention as an aside, the levitation trick, how really does that work?

You just reduce the gravity.

You must be aware of the hands over the head trick and lift the person with 4 others with just your fingers.

Try doing it without the hands over the head trick.
It's really easy to lift someone like that.

I seem to think I was lifted in this fashion, many years ago.
I'm not sure. Drink was probably involved, but I have vague memories of trying it in a friend's garage.

Ermm... have you any idea how easy it is to pick stuff up with just your fingers?
I just wandered across my office and picked up a 15 kg chair with the index finger of my left hand. Given I shattered my left arm 6 months ago in a hockey game and haven't been allowed to pick up anything more than a cup of tea with it until 4 weeks ago, I doubt you could consider it to be overly strong. So I really don't think 8 fingers are going to struggle to pick up a person, unless they are an epic housewhale.

Your problem is that you're doing a quija board.
You should try a ouija board instead.

Quite.
Oui - Ja. Yes - yes.

Do you see?
