This is a question Nativity Plays

Every year the little kids at schools all over get to put on a play. Often it's christmas themed, but the key thing is that everyone gets a part, whether it's Snowflake #12 or Mary or Grendel (yes, really).

Personally I played a 'Rich Husband' who refused to buy matches from some scabby street urchin. Never did see her again...

Who or what did you get to be? And what did you have to wear?

Hmm.
It's not one week, the QoTW has been pants for several weeks now. I don't think I'm the only one saying this.

Hence my reaction. Asking a question about Nativity Plays in March - FFS. Look at the suggestions list and there are loads of better ones up there.

I have spent hours and hours reading the QoTWs from the past from this site. Personally I think they are one of the best bits of the Internet. My contribution to them is virtually nil - I tell the best memoirs I have to recount, I'm not interested in becoming a "name" on here, just keen to appreciate the writing and wit of others - given a good topic to talk about that is.

I'm not normally given to throwing my toys out of the pram, but without being paranoid I can't believe that the best response to the recent dissatisfaction expressed with the QoTW topics is the dreck we've been asked this week.

It's not beyond the wit of man / woman / wombat to put up a poll of suggested questions. Had there have been one, I can't imagine this week's topic getting any votes.

So yes, I'm cross - because I love QoTW and it seems to be deliberately being scuppered.

I can't look at the qotw suggestions because I'm posting on a back door thing at work.
What are some of the good suggestions?
I think maybe there aren't that many good topics left!!
