This is a question How nerdy are you?

This week Gary Gygax, co-creator of Dungeons and Dragons, died. A whole generation of pasty dice-obsessed nerds owes him big time. Me included.

So, in his honour, how nerdy were you? Are you still sunlight-averse? What are the sad little things you do that nobody else understands?

As an example, a B3ta regular who shall remain nameless told us, "I spent an entire school summer holiday getting my BBC Model B computer to produce filthy stories from an extensive database of names, nouns, adjectives, stock phrases and deviant sexual practices. It revolutionised the porn magazine dirty letter writing industry for ever.

Revel in your own nerdiness.

Perhaps more of a geek than I thought, on second thoughts.
I actually like the music of John Zorn.

(In case you don't know what/who he is, look him up. "A chicken being raped with a fridge" is what comes to mind.)

Rather coincidentally...
...I was listening to John Zorn's old band Naked City's "Torture Garden" for the first time in years, in my car on the way to work this morning :)

I was just about to mention
Torture Garden, mainly because it's mental. The only thing i've heard like it was the last Fantomas album, with the Yoshitomo Nara calendar as a sleeve.

I listen to the normal stuff
Film soundtracks for instance, you can play them to your nanna.

Despite not really liking the noise genre, I find that if I play, say, Masada, it butters me up to find Cobra pretty normal.
