How nerdy are you?This week Gary Gygax, co-creator of Dungeons and Dragons, died. A whole generation of pasty dice-obsessed nerds owes him big time. Me included.
So, in his honour, how nerdy were you? Are you still sunlight-averse? What are the sad little things you do that nobody else understands?
As an example, a B3ta regular who shall remain nameless told us, "I spent an entire school summer holiday getting my BBC Model B computer to produce filthy stories from an extensive database of names, nouns, adjectives, stock phrases and deviant sexual practices. It revolutionised the porn magazine dirty letter writing industry for ever.

I did an evil tornado thing once......I'm at the tail of tornado alley. My ex-husband moved here from California, so was not used to the fun weather we have. Then, just as tornado season was starting, the movie Twister came out. I took him to that movie.
He spent the next 5 years obsessively watching the Weather Channel and the sky.....just in case. He even thought about going back to college to study meterology.
remeber the bit of the movie when there were 3 funnels going around the truck? He saw that in stunned silence, then leaned over to me and said. "now *that's* a truck. I've got to get one of those"
