In celebration of this, what is the nicest thing someone's done for you? Whether you thoroughly deserved it or it came out of the blue, tell us of heartwarming, selfless acts by others.

It's a silly thing......but when I was going through the breakup of my marriage and getting a hard time from all of my ex-wife's friends and family about how I was taking the coward's way out and how I should be fighting for my marriage I got quite down about it all.
One day after a particularly arduous round of accusatory phone calls and emails I got a text from my mum that said "remember, without the rain we wouldn't have any rainbows".
Like I said, it's a silly thing, but it was exactly what I needed to hear, and just at the right time.

fightingI love the fact that people who you're not married to tell you that you should fight for your marriage. I had people say the same to me.
The thing is, if it was worth fighting for, then surely the two people in the damned marriage would be fighting for it? Grrr, silly onlookers!
