The nicest thing someone's ever done for me
In amongst all the tales of bitterness and poo, we occasionally get fluffy stories that bring a small tear to our internet-jaded eyes.
In celebration of this, what is the nicest thing someone's done for you? Whether you thoroughly deserved it or it came out of the blue, tell us of heartwarming, selfless acts by others.
Failing that, what nice things have you done for other people, whether they liked it or not?

Drunk, drunk, drunk
For that is what I became last Friday following a night of welcome-to-Tokyo madness so apocalyptic that I thought I might die of instant liver failure.
Anyway, Mrs chart cat met me in Roppongi at the end of the night and she patiently helped me stagger home. Then when I collapsed on the floor of our bathroom and lapsed into alcohol hibernation, she bravely tried to drag me to the bedroom to sleep it off (she's half my size).
Of course, it was never going to work. However, instead of abandoning my gin-soaked carcass to a cold night on the floor where it belonged, she brought the pillows and the duvet and lay down next to me right where I had fallen, keeping me warm until the next morning. Then she made me a brilliant hangover breakfast.
If that isn't love, I don't know what is.

My wife
shares many similarities with a typical cat (sleeping habits, sharp nails, love of fish), so maybe you're onto something.

She'll learn.
A couple of years and she'll be locking you out and sending you to Coventry for a week.
Isn't she Japanese? Aren't they a bit more subservient then European women?

Some are, yes
But not Mrs chart cat. She's way too westernized. She maintains the universe's balance by regularly giving me extreme bollockings too.
Was a nice feeling to wake up, initally confused about why I was on the floor, to then find her next to me in that 'morning warm and cuddly' mode.

hurty head
My wife does that, but she is able to carry me. She doesnt make breakfast, instead hits me repeatedly in the head for giving her a bad back :( Thats REALLY not what you want when you've got a hangover, but I guess its kind of fair enough.

She's storing it up!
She'll be storing all these incidents up in her head, then next time you fart in bed/spill her drink/not wash up after yourself/etc, she'll come down on you like a ton of bricks!
...Or something like that
