This is a question The nicest thing someone's ever done for me

In amongst all the tales of bitterness and poo, we occasionally get fluffy stories that bring a small tear to our internet-jaded eyes.

In celebration of this, what is the nicest thing someone's done for you? Whether you thoroughly deserved it or it came out of the blue, tell us of heartwarming, selfless acts by others.

Failing that, what nice things have you done for other people, whether they liked it or not?

Ahh, this is nice.
A very nice Doctor saved me from years of depression and misery by cutting off my willy and making me into the girl I always knew I was.

Thank you Mr Thomas, thank you from the very bottom of my heart (although I very much doubt you read B3ta).

Funnily enough
A very dear and greatly loved friend drove me to the hospital the day before and gave me a card just before she left. I opened it and cried tears of joy. She told me that she loved me from the bottom of her heart and the heart of her bottom.

I know she checks in every now and again, so Sarah. I still love you heaps and I know that you will be the best Mum in the world.

Yeouch *crosses legs*
It's drastic, but it's all good if it works for you. I've just gotten rather attached to mine!

Don't worry
Chickenlady will soon have you cured of that.

If any one is interested, it hardly hurt
but boy did I ever bleed!

Mine didnt hurt either
But the bloody injections they gave me in the days that followed hurt like hell, long fat needle straight into the thigh!

I had them too
but when they realised I was bleeding to death, they stopped giving me warfarin. Left me with painful bruises and a told you so look on my face when I told the Doctor I had split for a second time! To think they had to call him in from out sailing so he could sow me up again, while the Sister held the wound closed while we waited for him to return. Poor sod didn't get a day off that week.

I don't think you've addressed the real issue here.
Which is - does Dr Thomas, or any of his immediate family, have the first name John?

^^^
lolz, ashmed to say I was thinking that too.

I am sorry to report
That Dr Thomas is not called John, as for his family, I have no idea...

My best friend did ask me to ask Dr Thomas if my new bits were modelled on his wife though... To which he smiled and said no.
