This is a question The nicest thing someone's ever done for me

In amongst all the tales of bitterness and poo, we occasionally get fluffy stories that bring a small tear to our internet-jaded eyes.

In celebration of this, what is the nicest thing someone's done for you? Whether you thoroughly deserved it or it came out of the blue, tell us of heartwarming, selfless acts by others.

Failing that, what nice things have you done for other people, whether they liked it or not?

ummm....
well I had some pretty extreme self esteem problems, they were my closest friends for another 18 months, then they stopped talking to me.

Pathetic I know and I'd never let anyone treat me like that anymore.

Sarah and Lucie (my 2 BFF's) were also in on it.

As to what my friends said? They went to the club, where mr kitty was out of his face on acid and told him.

He spent 5 days going crazy before I could get out of bed to call him.

He spent that whole night knowing that he couldn't get home, couldn't call (and wake my parents and notify them that he was off his face and knew what had happened) and had ABSOLUTELY no way to know if I had even gotten home.

I've been thinking about posting this all week, only built up the courage today.

BTW, my friends (no longer) still swear that it was one of the best nights ever and it sucks that I had to miss it.

And I
was about to type the same thing too.

Shower of bastards, I hope that happens to them one day too, then they'll realise just how shittily they treated you.

Likewise
You've got to wonder about the sanity and outlook of the twunt-buckets who act like that. Despicable.
