I had a similar situation......
.....except that the DJ/tosser with a mic announces that Black Lace are coming on stage for a live appearance. Is that a barrel I hear being scraped?

I stood up, said "fuck that" to my mate & walked out of the club, never to return to that emporium of sticky carpets & random violence.
