I should have been arrested
Faced with The Law when I and a bunch of equally idiotic mates set off a load of loud explosions down the local chalk pit, we blamed bigger boys who had run off. Tell us of the times when you got away with something naughty and slightly out of order.
Thanks to MatJ for the suggestion

Driving offences
I drove from Glasgow to Edinburgh airport in 20 mins to pick up a mates brother who had just flown in at 2am.
On the way back while in no hurry I got flashed by a speed camera doing 50 through some roadworks. 3 points and a £60 fine for helping a mate out.

My only complaint about your story is that you've obviously omitted
the part where you were temporarily diverted and went on to murder a truckstop prostitute and then got away by the skin of your teeth because the petrol station exploded in a fireball that could be seen all the way to Inverness.

Strictly speaking, you'd finished helping your mate out as you were on your way back.
So you got a ticket for 'being the sort of prick who ignores speed limits through roadworks'.

Unfair, AB.
I got done by a speed camera, but the letter I received from the old bill made it very clear that the points and fine levied were a result of me dropping my mum off in London that morning, and the fact that I was exceeding the speed limit in a built up area was purely coincidental.

If only they'd put up clear signage indicating limits and the possibility of cameras. IT'S LIKE NAZI GERMANY.

I admit I was a danger...
Although I am sure the sign telling me that the national speed limit applies was in the picture the camera took. There are no roadworks to "protect" at 3am on a Saturday night.

I once walked into a place with a 'trespassers will be prosecuted sign on it'.
It was three AM and the facist bastards STILL did me.

Glasgow to Edinburgh Airport is forty miles
Not counting any distance to the motorway in Glasgow. Twenty minutes? Aye, right.
