It's Not What It Looks Like!
Cawl wrote two years ago, "People seem to have a knack for walking in at just the wrong time:
"Well, my clothes got wet, so did his... Yes, officer, huddling together to conserve body heat... Yes officer, he's five... No Officer... I'm not his Dad."
What have you done that, in retrospect, you'd really rather nobody had seen, mostly as things just get worse the more you try to explain it?

and it's like the question's already mutated to 'it is what it looks like'. Or rather, 'People seem to have a knack for walking in at just the wrong time'. Does no-one fucking read things properly these days?

It sure is
That's how far I had to go back to find something interesting we'd not asked before.
Actually, that's not true. I went through the most popular unused suggestions that didn't duplicate existing questions and this one had a LOT of votes.
And as for changing things on time? Well, sometimes I'm busy. Today I lost a terabyte of data after a RAID array went tits up and two disks failed simultaneously. It's been a long, long day.

I'm not trolling, just already disappointed
The question's not the problem. The answers are.
EDIT: I'm going to edit my original comment, so people know I don't have a problem with the question.

Unless
this is a whole new level of m3ta, and even this QOTW is not what it looks like, being in fact a forum for people to tell any old anecdote they feel like.
