This is a question Old stuff I still know

Our Ginger Fuhrer says that he could still code up a simple game idea in Amstrad Basic, while I'm your man if you ever need to rebuild the suspension on an Austin Allegro (1750 Equipe version). This stuff doesn't leave your mind - tell us about obsolete talents you still have.

If you wire a photodiode to a microphone jack
and pop the diode inside the body and the stick the jack up your jacksie ... or into a computer ... then you can accurately measure the shutter speed as a pop in any old audio recording software. You can probably find some wiring diagrams on The Internet.

/top tip for the day

edit: does this tip count as obsolete knowledge? it doesn't contain any cheat codes

I'm going out right now
to buy myself an old camera, just so I can try this.
