bah humbug
The ice finally melted enough for public transport in my rural backwater to run again and allow me to travel cross country to be with my family.
Many of whom are now bedridden with the lurgy and probably wont surface from their bacterial pits until the new year, missing the traditional dried turkey and hour long boiled sprouts, opening fancily wrapped presents that contain nothing more than a selection box from the £1 shop.

I wouldnt miss it for the world :)
