Why wouldn't you live out of the UK?Rome is gorgeous though I guess the language barrier could be a deal breaker

The language barrier mainlyAlso, I hate the thought of just upping sticks and leaving everyone. Plus, I maintain that the UK has some of the best community spirit in the world, if you know a good pub.

Pubs are pubsThe world over. I can't speak for North Korea, or Borneo, but a good boozer in any country you go to is always the most egalitarian experience you'll ever get.
