I was actually relieved when I got to university and was no longer the highest-achieving kid there.I went to a cack school, and my three lazy Bs at A-level were the best grades in my year. To suddenly not be despised, seen as a target or get all that "Ooh she did the best in her year!" shit from my mum was like a weight lifting off.
