There's things like homeschool help groups around as well, so one day you teach your kid and someone elses and the next they do the same.
Beware of nonces though.

when you consider how sodding terrible teachers are atcontrolling classes and how inefficient the practice of one person trying to teach 20-30 is, I get the feeling that most people could do a better job one on one.
