but overcoming that fear and stepping into the unknown - or technicolour hyperspace coupled with ego death in the case of DMT - has done me a lot of good as a person, I believe.
'Body' drugs such as cocaine have been my downfall, and they're the most 'in control' substances out there.

A lack of respect for (or ignorance of the potency of) psychedelics can fuck anyone right up. I used to love taking them at festivals but only after I'd already had 20+ trips in an un-scary rural environment first.

Never done a class A, 18 years of age, having a shit first outdoor festival, there with my ex and best mate who'd decided to cop off with each other that weekend in the adjoining tent.
I readily accepted the offer of "something to cheer you up".
It did not work.
