No one really "understands" lightDebate has raged for hundreds of years over whether it's a wave or a particle, and since some time around 1906 people have grudgingly come to accept that it's some strange amalgamation of the two (i.e., it exhibits some properties of a particle but also some properties of a wave)

Yeah, I remember reading that.The Only thing I really remember is red shift, as at the time I had no idea what it was so drummed it into my head.
