Sadly she really is a lot better than me, her knowledge of technique makes mine look pathetic, and she knows all my steps as well as hers. I'm better at performing because she gets nervous at competitions and I'm a massive show-off, however.

I have actually suggested that if she ever wants to win stuff she should dance with someone else but she's generously refused to do so on account of me being her boyfriend, which is awesome. She'd really struggle to find someone as good as her of sufficient height anyway.

Don't know if I'd even carry on with it. I'd have to insist this new, tall, brilliant dance partner of hers be spectacularly gay or monumentally ugly, or ideally both.
