On a related note, Where does the cultural South end and the cultural North begin (of England)?
I'd say "the South" goes up to Stoke on Trent.
The Midlands used to be more Northern before the 80's, since then it has been more southern.

Well how about in the USA?
I know Florida is culturally and socially in "The North", but where does the line go?
(, Fri 8 Jul 2011, 20:28, Reply)
Do you know where Florida is?

He DID say culturally and socially, not geographically
but the thing is, florida is shit so why are we talking about it anyway?

Apart from the retirees
I'd say that Florida was culturally, politically and economically of the South.

Any seccesionist state is irrevocably Southern.

it's good to have passion

He wasn't on your side
You know that, right?
(, Fri 8 Jul 2011, 20:59, Reply)
Yeah, I'm less a fan of the confederacy and more a fan of being born in the south.
I don't give a fig about all that other junk.
