I merely don't see the point of Barry's argument.It would have some relevance if football teams had any connection to their local communities bar accidental geography, but that hasn't been the case for any high-level club for years. It's this pseudo-tribal local loyalty stuff from fans that's just the worst kind of deluded arse-gravy. IMO.
