In Spain is the other way roundSoutheners speak funny, are lazy and only want to party and nap. Northeners work hard, are too serious and sometimes rude.
Having family in both sides, I can tell you that's not true, although Northeners are a bit more shy and harsh; but very nice people when they know you.
