Primates have been around for about 30 million years.
Dinosaurs were around for about 160 million years.
Primates managed to reach homo sapien intelligence about 200,000 years ago.
All the apes and some simians show signs of intelligence enough to make tools.
The dinosaurs had much longer than we've had to produce an intelligent species. Given the crazy number of different types of dinosaur that there were. How come none of them accidently stumbled into intelligence?
I know evolution isn't a cognicent force which is headed towards goals like intelligence or flight, but you'd think at least one branch of the MASSIVE dinosaur tree would have accidently become intelligent enough to make tools.
