A mate of mine is a Radiographer at Broad Green, Liverpool.
He's seen junkies come in who have launched themselves off 5 storey buildings with only minor damage, because they've been convinced they were flying until they hit the ground, so totally relaxed.
I've spent very little time in France (like, can be counted in less than 50 hours.) I just dislike the concept.

Despite the auld alliance I must say it is spoiled by the French.

Ditto with the Dutch.

As for the Dutch? Meh!
Why?
Roadsigns, you sub-sea-level cunts.
Or rather motorway roadsigns.

But I've been to loads of nowhere places in the US and hardly been to Europe at all.
Worked in Switzerland and Belgium for a few weeks - that's about it.

I know Genève pretty well, Lausanne and Montreux fairly well, spent some time in Vallorbe, had a cracking romance in Bern and go horribly lost in the fog around Fribourg...
I love Switzerland, simply love the place.

Tinguely (sp?) museum is worth a visit.

I was single at the time and I stayed there at the weekends and got a railpass - travelled all over the place on Saturdays and Sundays.
Smashing place - I'd go back.

Always found that amusing but was never fully able to explain why.
Aaah, Colombian women ;)
And there was a Russian lass (Anna) too, she lived/lives in Genève, but that never came to much apart from the weekend I flew out there for the Pixies gig that time.
Oh golly, melancholy feelings!
