Naked Ape was patient zero for the experimentation in the"as long as they can sort of make themselves understood, we shouldn't bully the little lambs into proper spelling and grammar" ideology. He was such a roaring success, they applied it countrywide.
I forsee no chance of falling standards in literacy and literature as a result.
