I had an MRI scan fairly recently.Despite the general stressed-ness and noise of the situation I actually fell sound asleep.
They thanked me afterwards for staying so still.
I told them it was no problem.

I also had a CAT scan and a finger up the bumhole.That wasn't quite as relaxing.
