I seem to remember, about 10 years ago, a bunch of bands knocked out a Who tribute albumI nearly bought it. Then I realised it featured David "ooh-look-I've-changed-my-gay-costume-again" Bowie covering Pictures of Lily and promptly put the CD back on the shelf with what I hope was a suitable amount of British disdain.
One of my favourite singles, as well. As if the wonky-eyed cunt hadn't shat over British pop music quite enough already.
