The problem with problem drinkersis that it's other people that have a problem with them. They're usually quite happy being permanently shit-faced.
For an example, see Gonz's post a few days back complaining about the libertine he bumped into in a shop. Certainly, to the crowd, the man was a drunk that stank of piss and shit. To the drunk, everybody was being well mean to him when he was just trying to be friendly :(
