For fucks sake if she thought formby was small she would have thought the uke was small too
If I see a mouse with a violin to scale I can assume the violin is small if I see an elephant with a violin to scale I can assume its a massive violin, no matter what size george formby is we can assume that when he is photographed with a Uke its to scale. Therefore if she thought he was massive this would explain why she was surprised the uke was small.

Now if she only THOUGHT George was massive why would she not also think the banjolele he is holding is also massive? Of course if he was actually WAS massive and the Banjo was normal sized then it would look small but this is in no way what Monty was implying and you just can't get that.
