I was on a table with two governors and the Ranga who did the photocopying. The Ranga spent the whole night pretending he was a teacher and discussing how rewarding teaching was with the governors. I didn't blow his cover but I found it even more depressing when I realised that he was more passionate about teaching than any of the real teachers would ever have been and the governors probably left thinking that the schools teaching staff were excellent.
