Lava lamp bottles are heat proof glass, so your coke bottle will shatter.
Sealed bottles which are full of boiling water are called bombs.
Electricity and water don't mix well.
Can't you knit a scarf or something, it would be safer.

But the point is it's not boiling water.
I'm just a bit wary of soldering, otherwise I'd just buy some normal LEDs and use those. No bomb creation intended.

You mentioned boiling water in your original post.
Whatever, the LED bulb will not heat the water by nuch at all, as most the the energy is being used produced as light, while the filament bulb is producing more heat than light. If you want to set up some sort of convection in the bottle it will have to be a heat source. I really think you need to find an established design and follow their instructions.
