NoAmongst other considerations there's the mass of the existing building, and allowances already in place under the GPDO. Crying through blubbery tears and pointing at what your neighbour has in years to come aint gonna work. See all teh horrendous 60's and 70's extensions thrown up as carbuncles on listed buildings
