I'm cooking at the moment, is it Quarry tiles?

Dunno.
Don't think so. Just standard Victorian mosaic tiles. I'm getting the worst of the glue off by scrubbing with white spirit then wiping up with a dry cloth.

When it's all cleaned off I'll get proper tile cleaner and sealer.

True fact is white spirits aint going to help are they quarry tiles like i said?

The tiles are multi coloured and different shapes
So much more like the ones in the first link up there.

I need to get the glue off the tiles, I've used glue remover stuff that Barnitts recommended. I'm not planning on cleaning the entire floor with solvents, but the glue needs removing somehow.

Brick acid available from most builders merchants dilute 8/1 parts making it stronger as you go through the troublesome areas
then hire a good industrial steam cleaner for the weekend to bring it all up, renew the grout with flooring grout then seal and shine. simples
