I once made up a story about my mate Paul.
I claimed that I’d seen him with his hands in the air, crying, during a live PA of ‘Everybody’s Free’ by Rozalla at a rave in Basingstoke. It was complete bollocks but within a fortnight it was established ‘truth’ and other people claimed also to have seen it. It dogs him to this day, to the extent that it forms part of his act (he is now a professional standup comedian).

I am extremely proud of this.
