I haven't read the articleBut isn't there a point that a lot of third world farmers export more than they need to keep to feed their own countrymen?
They make more money from foreigners, so fuck next door if they're gonna starve

If you can grow say Coffee on a field and that'll make you $1000 a year, and grain you'll only get $350 a year, it's better to grow the coffee and import the grain. Not only for yourself but for the whole countries economy. It's globalisation.
