I really don't get how she didn't notice
but I guess if you're saving, then maybe you just assume it's there.

I still find it hard to believe that they can't do anything - the person that recieved it in error spent it, and I'm pretty sure that's still theft, from a criminal point of view. They might claim they can't pay it back, but surely "that or doing time for thefto f £25K" might convince them otherwise?
