I imagine it's difficult to believe in that sort of thing
and NOT come across as a loon.

Holy fuck.
I just looked up 'otherkin'.

Are these people serious?

Apparently so

(, Mon 18 Feb 2013, 16:53, Reply)
I don't get how adults can srsly believe that shit.

(, Mon 18 Feb 2013, 16:54, Reply)
It seems hard to believe
But no more than someone's faith in god or the afterlife I guess.
(, Mon 18 Feb 2013, 16:56, Reply)
Well, that too, but according to Wikipedia:
Otherkin largely identify as mythical creatures,[4] with others identifying as creatures from fantasy or popular culture. Examples include: angels, demons, dragons, elves, fairies, sprites, aliens,[5][6][7] and cartoon characters.[8] A lot of otherkin believe in the existence of a multitude of parallel/alternative universes, which would explain the existence and the possibility to relate to fantastical beings and even fictional characters.[9]

What fucking cunts.
EDIT they don't believe that shit for a fucking second. They're trying to be all 'weird' and 'kooky' the 'look at me' wankers. Once they finally clock that yes, people are looking at them but no, they don't think they're 'out there' and waqqui, just utter flids, they will grow up and stop being such knobs. Usually this happens within a year of graduation.

fucking cunts an interesting philosophy...I think that's something I might be interested in. In fact, I'm off right now to find out where my nearest meeting of like-minded Otherkins might be! Wow, I've really got a good feeling about this. I think it might be the sort of life-changing experience I need right now.

Cool! Me too!
I'm starting to regret throwing my lot in with those Steampunk LOSERS now.

that's a cross between a lizard and some sort of wading bird.
