I don't see how this is a zing.I only coined my username because it's funny sounding as a word. It has nothing to do with liking of the colour purple.
The only link is that both me and purpleman live in York. It's not a zing and it's not funny. It's not 'unfunny', it just has zero comedic potential.
I think you need to work on your understanding of the concepts of 'humour', 'comedy' and 'jokes'.
