ooh, incidentally, my weekend was much brightened by the arrival of an enormous yellow rubber duck, which is now living in my bath!

For those of you who read of my Royal Mail-related grumblings, this just reinforced my low opinion of them as the parcel was posted on June 9th. And was sent by registered delivery.
