Shoes with big heelsmust be a bit difficult to walk in. Hope you manage to stay upright and steady ancrenne.
Alternatively you could wear a skirt like Mrs Honeyman from Camberwick Green (or was it Trumpton...?) which reaches the ground, and go nude-footed as usual.
