For what it's worth, I had to give a presentation a couple of weeks back, and running through it the day before with my boss, I made a right arse of it. Hums and erms everywhere.

I looked through my notes on the train on the way for only a few minutes, but as soon as I went into the room I immediately got into 'professional speaking' mode and presented it very well, even if I do say so myself. So you'll be fine.

That said, I haven't heard from them yet, so it doesn't look like I'm getting the funding

As for being sensible - well, more prudent really. I'm not keen on the idea of my £how-much? computer going bang.
