Borders humourI was playing at a gig in Hawick a year or two back and a local raconteur was doing his spot. One of his topics was local inter-town rivalries.
"Aye, ye get fierce rivalries between the towns around here", he said.
"For example, there's Hawick and Galashiels. Innerleithen and... Gala. Peebles and Gala, Selkirk and Gala..."
