I've read all the books so far and the git needs to hurry up and finish them before he fucking dies!
The Winds of Winter won't be finished before they get that far in the TV series. I think they need to slow down, the book they are doing now was massive and they are cutting too much out. Best thing they can do right now is make two seasons per book and hope he catches up (which he won't)
