@StormNo, a bit further north - Dundee area. But I do enough travelling to see the chaos round the capital at the moment. Why they didn't just build a rail link from the airport is beyond me. The railway line runs past the end of the runway, and there's that old MoD site which is being demolished that would make an ideal station location. A couple of million quid on a station and shuttle buses and it would be sorted. With minimal disruption.
Except the powers that be decided on trams. Which are just buses that can't get out of the way.
